Sweet Beauty Sleep feat. Fi (Flea143) of Pout Perfection ...

Oh So Heavenly truly make the most wonderful products, or at least all the ones I have tried have been nothing less than lovely. Their entire range is huge and you should check it out at Clicks sometime! Beauty Sleep Pillow Mist 100ml

At a Bloggers Who Bless event, in a goodie bag I was given part of the Oh So Heavenly Beauty Sleep Collection, Wish Upon a Star Soothing Pillow Mist. The product is as it says, a mist you spray onto your pillow or bedding and the blend of aromatherapy with Lavender, Orange and Patchouli oils makes magic in your senses by calming your mind in order to inspire peaceful beauty sleep.

I have only been using my pillow mist for the past 2 weeks and I can truly say I love it and I never want to be without it. I sleep with 2 pillows, so before I go to brush my teeth and wash my face I spritz 2 sprays of the pillow mist onto my pillows and it makes my room smell gorgeous. The lavender is very powerful and luckily one of my favourite aromatherapy smells. I then proceed to the bathroom to do the admin of night time skin care routine and cleaning of teeth before retreating back into a heavenly scented room ready for some serious sleep.

Call it coincidence or the placebo effect but since I started using this little gem I have found that once my head hits that pillow it doesn’t take long for me to wind down and get sleepy and before I know it pass out entirely. I believe the bottle will last for ages and I would seriously recommend this to anyone that battles with sleeping, as there is nothing worse than lying in bed when you’ve been stressed and your body is exhausted but that mind won’t wind down and let you have peaceful, undisturbed sleep. So far, so good and I will be taking this spritz-bottle of happiness wherever I find myself on my extensive adventures over the next few weeks in order to get the best possible sleep.

Soothing Pillow Mist is available at Clicks nationwide and is R19.95 for 100ml.

Heaven is sold at Clicks by Leana of Hipstyler,Pretty & Ginger

Oh so Heavenly is definitely one of my favourite South African brands and here’s why:

They are always evolving and while you want a “predictable and dependable” brand in your home, you also want them to change with the times. The other day when I was shopping for a baby shower (I can spend 100s of Rands on baby stuffs) I saw the OsH Mum & Cherub range for the first time. Nope, having kids is hardly a new thing, but up until a short while ago, OsH only focused on bath and beauty products

Think about this: the women/ladies that started using OsH when the range became available at Clicks, have since turned into mommies and if they’re anything like me, they would have shown tremendous brand loyalty over the years. To top it off, this aqueous cream smells DIVINE! And, it’s not just for babies either! Use it to remove makeup, moisturise your feet or even moisturise the tips of your hair. I got this one in my Bloggers Who Bless goodie bag.

CAM00228
For the mums, OsH has even thought of those pesky stretchmarks that haunt us during pregnancy. It’s worth a try!
They keep the good and don’t tease us with “limited edition” bollie! I like to know that the products I love will be there the following month when I want to buy a top up! I was introduced to the Beauty Sleep collection when I was 21 years old and I loved it so much! Till today, I can still get my favourite pillow mist (the Beauty Sleep mist) at my nearest clicks. It’s an aromatherapy blend which consists of Lavender, Orange and Patchouli which are famous for relaxation and uplifting your mood and it really makes you sleep so much better. The mist in the picture below was sponsored in my Bloggers who Bless goodie bag.

Their products are really gentle on the skin and also kind to sensitive lady parts too. Sorry, I had to say it. I remember the days of bland baths – sis! But then came OsH 2 phase bath silk and my world changed forever.
Beauty Sleep
They offer GREAT quality for money, for example, their hand serums. Where can you find a serum for less than R30? But don’t be fooled by the price, because the serums are fantastic. A couple of squirts really soak into the skin to moisturise and rejuvenate your hands and it smells amazing!

They have the most amazing scents with the best names like “Everyday Detox” (amazing), “Girls’ best friend” and “Bye Bye Stress” and that’s not the end of it. They have something for everyone. My latest faves are the BB Beautiful moisturiser and the Radiance Boost Hand cream. If you need any motivation to venture into the OsH ranges, let it be the amazing scents. Also, try the Hoola Hands hand sanitizer! Oh my Heavenly!

Everything else

They are against the testing of animals and only use 2 animal by-products called Kanolin and Hydrolysed keratin which, I suppose, aren’t that bad. You can check out the whole story about their policy here.

What’s new?

I’m looking forward to trying these awesome body washes for myself. Just look at the lovely pink packaging!

the #bwb take over the @bedouindeli in woodstock - by CUPCAKE MUMMY

Frightening how speedily time passes us by, on Saturday we had our 2nd #BWB get together which means it’s been 6 weeks since the last one already (holy purple socks on a rooster!) and it was lovely seeing all the faces behind the blogs and tweets again as well as some new ones that have joined to make up the 15 that is the Cape Town “branch”.

cape town #bwb
The deli was gorgeous and despite the food not being my lifestyle edible it looked really good and the ladies seemed to enjoy it so I’ll take their word on that but I will also not be putting strange foods into my mouth after receiving a safety go ahead from Femme Lifestyle hahahaha < I pointed out something and she said it was just spiced rice wrapped up in a leaf… a bit revealed it was pesto and that odd yogurt cheese (a napkin and plate was passed my way really quickly)
blog off
The goodie bags are always an added bonus and there aren’t always any because that’s not what it’s always about but the one that was put together for Saturday was just lovely, so many goodies in it! And as with last time momma got to pick out what she wanted as a thank you for watching master Fysh while I had a bit of kid free time with the ladies.

In our bag: Rain Africa, Hey gorgeous, Nimue, dermatologica, Ritzis chilli, bath oils, oh so heavenly cream and spray, original iced cocktails, and a heap of other goodies that I’ll be reviewing for you as I test them out.
hey gorgeous cupcake bomb
Highlight of the day for me was something rather small… Heather and Fi gave each of us 3 strips of paper and we were to write our names on the back and then pick out three ladies there to each write a small motivational something to. Then they were handed back, sorted out and slipped into our goodie bags while we were all chatting. I’d actually forgotten about them until the lipglossed ninja tagged me on instagram with a photo of one she’d written to me (it was accidentally given back to her) letting me know what she’d written.

Words are such powerful things and we should start realising that before it’s too late. So take a leaf out of the #BWB book and go tell someone something nice – let a stranger know they look good, smile at the carguard, tell your momma you love her, let your kids know how brilliant they are or compliment your sister on her beauty and intelligence. Just go out there today with the intent of saying at least one nice thing to someone you meet…
