An ordinary woman with extraordinary dreams. Founder of Ladies Etiquette and Empowerment Academy, Face Value. Premiere workshops aimed to develop young ladies to navigate this modern world. I work as an IT Project Manager full time, part time accredited make-up artist. In constant pursuit of happiness and enjoy sharing my stories so that one day I can look back at my stories and remember the memories for what they are. I love trying new things and do my best to see the silver lining. An information junkie that loves to shop, window shop and create. I love a good bargain and live a life of honesty. You really do only live once and I write to remember that!

I’m a simple girl who developed an obsession/addiction/passion for all things nail polish and nail art related and decided to start writing about it and taking pictures of what I do. I have a bit of a strange sense of humor and tend to see the lighter side in most dark situations, but honestly, it’s actually one of the things I love about myself!  I’m also a huge geek inside who lets her inner child indulge on all things awesome like X-box, anime, comics, etc and I absolutely cherish that!

Needless to say, nail art and nail polish. 

Why you blog ? 
It’s a way for me to share my love with people who might have an interest in it! It’s also a way for me to hopefully, inspire people to think out of the box and explore new interests.

The blogging world can become nasty very quickly with jealousy, gossip and just plain negativity flowing around. I want to be able to uplift and inspire others! Break down the "nasty" and bring in the inspiringly "fab". #BWB are real woman with real lives!

Blog Bio: Pink Peonies was created as a result of my love (and obsession) for all things beauty-related. I adore makeup, hair care, body care and nail care products and I love sharing my knowledge and experiences with the readers of my blog. I blog about various beauty-related topics and products, plus sometimes throw a lifestyle post in the mix just to keep in interesting!

I had a double lung transplant on the 5th of March 2013. Now I’m happy,healthy and encouraging people to register as an organ donor. I have also started a paleo diet and hope to share recipes and advice with people interested in the low carb, high fat diet.

My work is very academically orientated and so I wanted a creative outlet that brought together a couple of my passions: writing, photography, design, and  beauty products.

I think the concept of bloggers encouraging each other is a great idea and I think that it is definitely needed. I have met some great ladies that I probably wouldn’t have met otherwise! Very few of my friends are into beauty and skincare as much as I am, so it’s nice to spend time with like minded ladies and talk about the things that interest us.
